Revitalization on the Strip
08/26/2016

The MGM Resorts International has big plans to transform Monte Carlo in the next two years with $450 million in renovations, and they plan to turn the property into a new luxury NoMad Hotel concept. This entire area of the strip is getting a major facelift, as MGM Resorts International just opened the new T-Mobile Arena, along with The Park and Toshiba Plaza so transforming the Monte Carlo to a new luxury NoMad Hotel changes the entire landscape.

Another property on the Strip gaining attention is Fontainebleau, which could sell this summer. Recently, Fontainebleau went on the market for a $650 million asking price. The project initially began in 2007 but was not finished due to the economic downturn.  Now years later, experts expect that the project will cost $1.2 billion and take another two years to complete. The Fontainebleau may come with a hefty price tag, but the rise in tourism has created a need for more available rooms, which may help entice investors.
